
BSN Puerto Rico Licensure Rates on the First Intent Source: Puerto Rico Nursing Licensure Board Report (2014-2017)
A measure of student achievement of the Nursing Program is through the analysis of the results in the on the first intent of the Puerto Rico Nursing Board Licensure Examination for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The next table summarizes the pass rates obtained by GC graduates in AYs 2014-2017. The table demonstrates that the expected outcome was achieved during four consecutive years. As shown in Table I the pass rates on the first intent of the Puerto Rico Nursing Board Licensure Examination for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates surpassed the 80% expected outcome for academic years 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Student Achievement: Teacher Education Program
The Department of Education of Puerto Rico requires that the completers of the Teacher Education Program (TEP) pass the Teacher Certification Test, administered by College Board, in order to be employed by the agency. Therefore, the test results are a bonafide indicator of student achievements. The following table 2 summarizes the pass rates results obtained for AYs 2013-14 to 2016-17.

The following table present the graduation rates for Guayama Campus demonstrate that have fluctuated for the analyzed cohorts. The increase observed for the 2010 cohort was due to the implementation of diverse strategies to provide support services for students, such as academic and financial counseling, psychological services, additional access to technology, among others.
